Vreau sa-mi iau o pereche de cauciucuri pentru noul sezon. M-am oprit la Schwalbe Blizzard:

care cantaresc jumatate cat Lugano (ce am acum pe bicla), dar am mai descoperit si Maxxis Xenith Hors Categorie:

care sunt si mai usoare si mai ieftine (cu 4 lei ) decat Blizzard-urile. Am cautat si pe ciclism.ro niste pareri insa brandul Maxxis e mai mult folosit pe mtb, pe sosea mai putin.
Ce parere aveti, care merita investitia?

Maxxis xenith avea Ionut (Alien) a mers (si inca merge) pe ele cativa ani . Cu penele nu avea probleme. Da Maxxis este folosit mai mult pentru MTB la sosea este cam sarac in modele .

Mai bine astepti si cand fac eu comanda in februarie pe bikecomponents iti cumperi de acolo o pereche de GP4000s (pe net se vorbeste ca sunt cele mai bune la ora actuala)

Bogdane imi recomanzi cauciucuri de 50E bucata???? Unde crezi ca lucrez, in politie ??? Am dat 200 lei pe cauciucuri de iarna pentru masina ...

care 50e sunt vreo 20 si ceva ... vrei calitate trebuie sa platesti , daca nu ramane Rubena de la Petrisor la 4 atm face galme .

Acuma si tu esti tendentios, pai ti-am aratat doua modele mai mult decat decente, parerea mea, spre care m-am orientat si tu ma bagi la Petrisor la 4 atm ... ?

Din alea 2 eu merg pe Maxxis Xenith . (varianta foldabila)

Schwalbe sunt mai bune. Maxxis nu au nici o protectie la intepaturi. Pe site-urile germane nu exista la vanzare anvelope Maxxis. Cred ca se intelege de ce.

Macar au 225gr alea Blizzard au 320gr , prea grele . Eu i-am spus sa cumpere Conti dar crede ca fac misto .

"Michelin PRO3" are Scorpionu pe cursiera lui , nu am vazut sa faca pene , sunt si mai usoare Greutate: 140g;Dimensiuni: 700x23c;

Nu prea a mers Scorpionu pe cursiera ca sa faca pene. Schwalbe Durano se zice ca dureaza peste 10000km. Filip daca merge ca si in 2009 o sa-l tina 3 ani.
Ciotic a avut odata un cauciuc de circa 150 grame care a cedat inainte de 100km.

Ala era baieu din cate stiu eu . Oricum tare faza cu Durano )

Nu ai de unde sa stii. Se intampla cu 2-3 ani in urma. Cred ca Vittoria era cauciucul.

Nu folasea tubulare la vremea aceea.

Dintr-un motiv simplu - sunt americane ... si cum americanii sunt tampiti si dupa ce ca fac lucruri ieftine fata de EU le fac si numai pentru ei ... mama lor de vacari .
P.S. Am simtit si niste cutite ascutindu-se pe aici ... cred ca am si unul in spate

Cateva pareri despre Maxxis Xenith:

Gave this tire a 5/5 last Aug ('07) based long-term use. Mounted a new one two days ago (to replace a different brand of tire that had shredded the day before), pumped up to 125lbps psi (rated to 130), and the tire blew (rear wheel) 8 miles into the first ride, on a clear, asphalt shoulder. Gash in tire casing required the dollar-bill trick to allow me to limp through the next 22 miles of the ride.

I got these tires with my new bike and was stoked after looking them up on there website. They look cool and feel good on the road but I had a flat on my first ride about 12 miles out so I stopped and changed the tube which was really thin. I thought well maybe it was a pinch flat who knows. I went home and the next day or so when I went to go for another ride my front tire was flat from the same ride. Two flats in one ride. I have had tires go over a thousand miles with no flats. Anyway I changed out that thin tube so now I had two thicker tubes in both tires. I went and did a 42 mile charity ride a few days later and what do you know in the last 5 miles I got another flat. I don't want to buy new tires but these tires seem to be really sucky when it comes to puncher resistance. I have them on brand new Easton Vista SL wheels with rim tape. All I can say is I wanted to like the tires and will give them another chance but on the next flat they are going in the trash.

I got a set of these Maxxis tires with my Cannodale System Six Si1 - I sold them to a friend because I prefer Continentals. Tire blew in middle of a ride at 30+ mph. Friend broke ribs, puntured lung, etc. So this tire sucks. And no, to best of our knowledge, there was no other reason for blowout besides faulty tire.

Schwalbe Blizzard is a basic sport racing tyre. You can choose amongst different colors. It's structure contains a Kevlar layer to prevent puncture. I used it for several months, in several weather conditions. The Schwalbe Blizzard tyre can handle pressure up to 8 bar. That's not a lie: my inner tube ánd Schwalbe Blizzard tyre both exploded at 8.5 bar. So be careful! It's grip in dry weather conditions is quite good, as good as you expect from a basic tyre at least. It's puncture resistance and lifetime are very good. Glass, sharp stones,... nothing this tyre can't handle... So far, I would recommend it as a training tyre. However, in rainy conditions, on wet roads the grip decreases extremely. The tyre starts slipping during cornering or braking, even at low speeds (10~15 mph). During a descent of a small hill, it became very dangerous! While taking a turn, I noticed I couldn't take the turn sharp enough due to extremely low grip! I had to brake, but I couldn't because my tyre hadn't enough grip so I would start slipping and smash on the ground. I had to ride straight forward in a land to come to a halt..

When I bought my bike the Schwalbe Blizzard tire was already installed. I road for about 150 miles on it and the tire itself had maybe another 100 miles previous to my purchasing of the bike. After the 250 miles however, I have had 3 flat tubes in a matter of 3 weeks.

Dupa ce m-am chinuit sa le caut vreo saptamana mi le-ai facut muci in 10 randuri ... In cazul asta, astept luna februarie sa comand cu Bogdan de pe net.

Pai astea GP am eu acum pe bicla , 175gr (buc) cantarit pe cantar electronic (singura diferenta ca eu am dat 120ron pe o bucata) .

Decizie buna Filip , facem comanda in februarie (cine mai are nevoie sa stranga bani si bagam comanda masiva)

Sincer sa fiu aseara, dupa ce am mai studiat putin ofertele, exact la astea ma oprisem pentru ca au si dimensiunile pe care le vreau 22 si 24, asa ca astea sunt cele alese. Bogdane, sa ne dai startul cand comanzi.

La sfarsitul lui Februarie , atunci fac comanda . Va anunt inainte , pana atunci verificati saitu si faceti lista .
